Tubular Skylight Flashing
Our aluminum flashings for Tubular Skylights are built to be one of the strongest you will find on the market. Most places sell those cheap plastic brand flashings, which wont last through a hurricane or even heat for that matter. When purchasing a flashing you have two sizes to choose from. Our 10 inch flashing is the standard option, but in the drop down menu above, you have the option to move up to the 13 inch. Along with the sizing options we also give you the choice on what kind of flashing you wish to purchase. Our standard option is the pitched flashing, which was designed for tubular skylight installations taking place on a pitched roof with flat ceilings. The reason is so that you can install the flashing on your pitched roof and still get the optimal angle of the sun, which in turn allows your Sun Tubes to achieve maximum light distribution. Our other option is our flat flashings, which you will need if you are installing you tubular skylight onto a flat roof, or a roof with a vaulted/tilted ceiling. Since there is no pitch on a flat roof, the pitched flashing will not be need, unless of course your ceiling is vaulted. We currently offer three types of flat flashing options, our 4 inch, 6 inch, and 8 inch. If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow, you will want to go with the 8 inch flat flashing. Our flashings come with the template, and all the screws you will need for installation. The tubular Skylight flashings will ship for free.

The Pitched Flashing has been designed for installations with pitched roofs and flat ceilings. The reason is so that you can install the flashing on your pitched roof and still get the optimal angle of the sun, thus getting the most out of your tubular skylights. We include a Pitched Flashing template with your purchase, so you know what size hole to cut.
10'' Flat Flashing
The 10'' Flat Flashing is all you will need if you are installing the skylight onto a flat roof, or a pitched roof with a vaulted/tilted ceiling. Since there is no pitch on a flat roof, the pitched flashing will not be needed if your ceiling is flat. We have three different sizes of Flat Flashings. If you live in an area that receives several inches of snow, you will need to go with the 8'' Tall Flat Flashing. This will help keep your Tubular Skylight unblocked. Our other options are the 10''x4'' flat flashing and the 10''x6'' flat flashing.
