Our 13'' tubular skylight sun tube has an approximate coverage area of about 250 square feet, and has been manufactured to withstand wind speeds of almost 500 miles per hour. Our 13'' Dome Assembly is Vacuum formed and made of thick high impact acrylic, with UV stabilizers, which is mounted on an aluminum trim ring. It was designed for the purpose of eliminating heat, moisture, and leaks. Our Dome Assembly is one of the strongest on the market. The Dome Assembly will need to be mounted on top of the flashing you choose. The Dome Assembly is what draws the light from the sun into your Tubular Skylight.
The 13'' Pitched Flashing has been designed for pitched roofs. The reason is because when the roof you are installing on is pitched. Make sure when installing your tubular Skylight, that the pitched side is facing the sun. The reason is because if you tilt it the opposite way, you are loosing out on at least 40 percent of the light the 13'' Tubular Skylight could be producing.
Our 13'' Flat Flashing series is for those of you with flat roofs. The reason is since your roof is flat, there is no need for a pitched flashing to tilt your Tubular Skylight.
Our 13''x24'' Light Tube is lined with a highly reflective material that leads the light rays from the sun into your home. The Light Tube is crimped on one side & seamed at 3/4'', so fitting both tubes together is a really easy process.
The 13''x14'' 45 degree fully adjustable elbow is needed when you need to fit your tubular skylight in a tight space, or need to maneuver around something. Our Elbows can tilt up to 45 degrees giving you the perfect angles to get the job done. When you purchase a kit with elbows, you will receive two of them.
Our 13''Prismatic Double Glaze Ceiling Kit is the standard ceiling kit for our 13''Tubular Skylights. If you are looking for the maximum light that our Tubular Skylights offer, this Prismatic Ceiling Kit is for you.
Our 13'' White Ceiling Kit series will dim the light that your skylight produces. Some people may not like their home lit up and like that darker look. These offer a great amount of light, but are less bright than our other ceiling kit options.
